- System-Generated School Code & Product/Coupon Code: Our platform generates custom school codes and product codes for account validation, institutional grouping, secure onboarding, and account restoration. These codes are managed internally and have no association with external school physical addresses or external entities.
- Parent / Guardian Email Address: Used for account recovery, subscription confirmations, and official platform communications.
- Parent / Guardian WhatsApp Contact Number: Used exclusively to dispatch automated real-time login notifications and session progress reports via our official messaging integration.
- Educational Telemetry & Performance Data: We track active study times, quiz scores, subjects and topics attempted, activity durations, and average scores to generate accurate performance metrics.
- Device Fingerprints & Session Tokens: Collected automatically to secure sessions, prevent multi-user credential sharing, and safeguard user accounts against unauthorized access.
2. How We Use Your Information
The information collected is strictly utilized for educational and operational purposes:
- To authenticate student accounts and maintain secure database sessions.
- To generate detailed session progress reports and send automated WhatsApp updates to registered parents or guardians.
- To evaluate student academic growth.
- To process subscription top-ups, validate coupon codes, and restore deleted accounts upon verified request.
3. Online Tutoring Safety & Physical Meeting Prohibition
Strict Prohibition of Physical Meetings & Home Visits: All tutoring and mentoring interactions connected with Bright & Bold Learning Arena are strictly remote and digital-only. Parents, guardians, and students are expressly forbidden from soliciting, arranging, or hosting any face-to-face physical meetings or home invitations with platform educators or tutors.
Protection of Physical Location & Residential Data: In upholding child safeguarding and personal privacy, users must never disclose residential addresses, GPS coordinates, physical home landmarks, or private meeting locations to online tutors. Bright & Bold Learning Arena will never request, store, or verify home address records for tutoring delivery. Any unauthorized attempt by any party to arrange physical off-platform encounters constitutes a direct breach of safety protocols and will result in immediate termination of access and permanent blacklisting.
4. Browser Storage, Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We do not utilize invasive advertising trackers, third-party behavioral beacons, or marketing cookies. We strictly utilize client-side browser storage mechanisms for essential functional operations:
- Local Storage (localStorage): Securely preserves cryptographic session tokens, active subscription statuses, device verification markers, and curriculum preferences across page reloads without exposing sensitive credentials.
- Session Storage (sessionStorage): Temporarily caches active quiz states, active challenge timers, and student usernames during an ongoing session. All session cache is discarded when the browser tab is closed.
- Essential Service Cookies: Trusted third-party infrastructure providers (such as Paystack for secure payment transactions and Cloudflare/CDN networks for high-availability delivery) may set minimal, strictly necessary technical cookies to authenticate transactions and protect server resources against DDoS attacks.

Our platform is built for educational instruction. We collect minimal student details (first name or nickname and academic metrics) solely for classroom and home study tracking. We do not sell, rent, or trade user data to any external commercial entity.
